Barra de Potosí 20 minutes away from Zihuatanejo
One of the jewels of the Costa Grande and the Riviera Dorada is this small town on the edge of the Potosí lagoon, in the municipality of Petatlán. Kayaking, boat tours, kitesurfing and fishing wait for anyone up early looking for adventure, while the rest of the day belongs to the bay: rustic beachfront enramadas, fresh seafood, traditional dishes and the sound of the sea.
How to get there?
Take the Zihuatanejo–Acapulco highway to the village of Los Achotes; just past the bridge, the old road leads to the lagoon. You can also take the airport road, which passes the restaurants, hotels and condos of Playa Blanca.
